eCentre Internet of ThingsOn May 27th our good friends at the eCentre hosted an event at the Takapuna Boat Club all about the Internet of Things. This emerging technology offers both fascinating new possibilities and serious concerns. A guest panel discussed the pros and cons of having everyday objects connected to the Internet.

So what is ‘The Internet of Things’? It is the idea that inter-connectivity between objects and devices in our lives is becoming more and more prevalent. As the Internet and the interactions between devices becomes more and more ubiquitous, the idea of having everything on a network is not such a far fetched idea.
