Office 365 ups the ante with more space, more folders

Microsoft has been upping the ante on the highly competitive cloud services game. Recently they’ve announced the following increases for Office 365 Small Business:

 

• User Mailbox storage limits have been increased 2x from 25 Gigabytes to 50 Gigabytes per mailbox.
• Shared mailbox storage limits have been increased 2x from 5 Gigabytes to 10 Gigabytes per  mailbox. It’s interesting to note that Shared Mailboxes do not require a license.
• The number of Public Folders is up 10x from 10,000 to 100,000 folders.

These service improvements come at no additional charge. These limits vastly exceed the needs of most small businesses.
